PIG SCRAMBLE
Tuesday, JULY 27, 2010 @ 8:00 p.m.
1. Classes are as follows: Age groups are 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14-15,
2. Girls and boys are in separate age groups with a maximum of thirty in each class.
3. Not responsible for lost entries that are not sent or given to the Seneca County Fair.
4. The registration fee is $10.00 and is due with your entry form by July 16, 2010. Checks should be made out to the Seneca County Fair. Entries will not be accepted until Tuesday, July 6.
5. Signed entry forms and registration fees must be mailed and postmarked by July 16, 2010.
6. Participation will be on a first come, first served basis and the first 30 boys and girls entry application and fees received per class will participate.
7. Committee will arrange for all pigs per class.
8. Decisions made by the committee will be final, NO EXCEPTIONS.
9. When a pig is caught, the participant must know if they are keeping the pig.
10. Pigs that are not kept will be available to purchase by other contestants. Committee will have set price.
11. Any pig not picked up by Tuesday, July 27 @ 11:00 p.m. will become property of the Seneca County Fair.
12. Starting time for the pig scramble is 8:00 p.m. sharp!
13. All participants must be present by 7:45 p.m.
14. There will be a meeting 15 minutes before the starting of the Pig Scramble.
15. Participants cannot wear gloves.
16. Goggles are required and must be supplied by the participants.
17. Participants must wear a short sleeve shirt (above the elbow).
18. Straw will be used instead of mud.

In exchange for said participation, we do hereby consent and agree to hold harmless at the Seneca County Senior and Junior Fair, the contest committee, referees, participants, sponsors, and all persons, individually and collectively, associated with the promotion or conduct of the contest and will not seek liability for bodily injury or any other injury or damage sustained or suffered to the said minor son/daughter while a participant in the Pig Scramble Contest.
We further state that we have read this application and agreement and shall agree to abide by the rules governing the contest. If a winner and if we have agreed to keep the pig as indicated below, we will pick it up by 11:00 p.m. July 27, 2010 or it will become the property of the Seneca County Fair Board.
